Starting from cereal flours, our lines produce traditional cereal flakes and sweet coated flakes
CEREAL COATED FLAKES
FEN MX series represent advanced and flexible mixing systems. The ours are loaded into this unit either manually or through a silo with an automatic weighing system.
The coating drum allows to uniformly spread with sweet/savoury syrup the surface of the product. The drum is entirely made of stainless steel and its rotating speed and inclination angle can be varied in order to match any kind of coating target.
SYRUP MIXING TANKS
The Syrup preparation group, entirely made of stainless steel, is composed of two melting tanks that work alternatively in order to ensure the continuity of the process.
The product undergoes an initial “stabilization” drying to remove the superficial humidity and make the product stiff and with a stable shape.
After the drying process, pellets need to be rapidly cooled in order to reach a condition of thermohygrometric equilibrium and to avoid water condensation during their storage.
In this unit the stripes, strings and ropes coming from the extruder are cut into the length required accordingly to the shape to be obtained.
This unit is used to toast and expand a variety of products such as cereal akes and pellets. The product passes through a thermo- insulated chamber while it is hit by a flow of hot air (200°C).
AIR COOKING SYSTEM
In this unit, the product is heated by a hot air ow which is evenly distributed inside the machine. It is used for products that require a fast drying process with high temperature.
Flours are dosed by means of a precise volumetric or ponderal system into the mixing vessel.
These machines manage to process any kind of raw material deriving from potatoes and cereals into flakes.
